Who is your LORD? Matthew 26:14-15

Mat 26:14-15  Then one of the twelve, called JUDAS ISCARIOT, went to the chief priests  (15)  and said, “WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE ME IF I DELIVER HIM TO YOU?” And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.

Judas comment reveals more about himself that anything else; WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE ME IF I DELIVER HIM TO YOU. It reveals a heart driven by gain rather than devotion. Compare him to Mary of Bethany, in Matt 26:6-7 or John 12:3-5, who gave her costly fragrant oil to anoint JESUS!

Ecc 5:10 NLT, Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!

Judas walked with JESUS for three years, was witness to HIS wisdom and grace. He also witness many people being healed, and storms silenced, yet he called HIM Rabbi rather than LORD!

Psa 119:33-37, Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, And I shall keep it to the end.  (34)  Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.  (35)  Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it.  (36)  INCLINE MY HEART TO YOUR TESTIMONIES, AND NOT TO COVETOUSNESS.  (37)  TURN AWAY MY EYES FROM LOOKING AT WORTHLESS THINGS, AND REVIVE ME IN YOUR WAY.
