The Parable of the Weeds, Matt 13:24-30

Mat 13:24-26  Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;  (25)  but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.  (26)  But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared.
The seed is the word of GOD, and the wheat is the people of GOD! The tares resemble believers speak like believers and pray like believers but in their hearts they are not! The church will always be filled with true & false believers, until we are seperated by GOD HIMSELF!

Mat 13:30  Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ‘ ”

It’s not always possible for us to discern who is a true believer in God; (1 Timothy 5:24-25) , some people’s sins are obvious and go before them, while others remain hidden. At times, someone might appear to be living like an unbeliever—but it could simply be that they’re still learning and growing in their faith. Who are we to seperate anyone; it is not our role in life but it is the role of GOD to do the seperating at the Harvest!

It is the work of GOD that has put wisdom in the mind and understanding in our hearts (Job 38:36), but fools truely don’t give HIM access to their hearts or mind they simply have no time for HIM!

As believers we need to keep following the LORD and trusting HIM for everything! HE is faithful, and HE knows our hearts!
